The Giants likely will be without Evan Engram for a period, but not for the season.
The young tight end sprained his MCL on Sunday and can be classified as week to week, ESPN first reported Monday, a day after the Giants registered their first win of the season, 27-22, in Houston.
Engram left the game in the second quarter with a right knee injury and did not return. He sported a brace in the postgame locker room.
“Got up, immediately didn’t feel right, got examined, just didn’t feel right,” Engram said.
