The New York Giants have announced that they’ve designated starting outside linebacker Kyler Fackrell to return from injured reserve.
Fackrell has been out since week 12, when he suffered a calf injury against the Cincinnati Bengals and has missed the past three games. He joined his teammates at practice on Wednesday and will hopefully play this week.
We don’t know yet whether Fackrell will actually play this Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. I’m assuming it will depend on how he looks in practice this week.
Niko Lalos and Carter Coughlin have been filling in for Fackrell and playing pretty well in his absence but having the 29 year-old Fackrell back will be good for a defense that has struggled the past two weeks.
