To say the Giants defense is playing at a championship level may be premature.
This is a team, after all, that despite the optimism from a four-game winning streak is still just 5-7, only tied for first place in the NFC East with no guarantee of even making the postseason, and still needs to face two of the league’s most dangerous offenses in the next two weeks.
