Moments after the Falcons had rallied for a 24-20 victory over the Giants at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, both locker rooms were talking about same the thing: finishing.
“You can’t win the game in the first, second or third quarter,” Falcons receiver Julio Jones said after his 37-yard reception set up the game-winning touchdown with 74 seconds remaining. “You win the game in the fourth quarter. It’s all about how you finish.”
The same theory was being explained in the Giants locker room with much less enthusiasm.
“We just have to finish,” defensive end Robert Ayers, Jr.
