Giants general manager Dave Gettleman announced several staff changes in the team's front office Wednesday, including adding a new title for assistant general manager Kevin Abrams.
Abrams, a member of the Giants' organization for the past 16 years will now also serve as the Giants' Vice President of football operations.
It is worth noting that the announcement of Abrams' new title comes weeks after it was revealed that Gettleman is battling lymphoma, so Abrams' new position could establish him as the general manager in waiting should he be unable to continue in his current role due to his cancer battle.
