EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The New York Giants' home fans were finally treated to a Daniel Jones touchdown pass for the first time in 672 days. It came on a two-yard toss to tight end Chris Manhertz in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders at MetLife Stadium.

The touchdown came after the Giants ran the ball down to the Commanders' 2-yard line. On first and goal, Jones faked the handoff to running back Devin Singletary. He turned and fired over the top of Commanders safety Percy Butler for the rare passing touchdown, tying the game at 7.
