Damontre Moore helped cost the Giants a win last week. This week, he won’t have the chance to redeem himself.
Moore, whose first-half roughing-the-passer penalty on Sam Bradford helped spark the Eagles to a game-tying TD in an embarrassing 27-7 loss to the Eagles on Monday night, is inactive for Sunday’s game against the Cowboys at MetLife Stadium.
The move cost the Giants their most productive pass-rusher of the season; Moore leads the Giants with three sacks, and in the last two games, he's the lone Giant to record a sack.
Yet it wasn't a stunning move.
