EAST RUTHERFORD -- The Giants made two significant roster moves on Monday, parting ways with a one of the most beloved players in franchise history, as well as their veteran running back.
Wide receiver Victor Cruz and running back Rashad Jennings were both released as the Giants began their offseason housekeeping in earnest and shed $10 million in salary cap space.
"I think I have a lot of good football left ahead of me," Cruz said in a release announcing his departure. "I think there is still a lot of miles left on this body.
