The Giants’ quick rebuild will not include Brandon Marshall.
The wide receiver is being cut after he failed his physical, GM Dave Gettleman said Thursday, as the one-time star wide receiver falls out of his second New York organization. The cut saves the Giants $5.1 million against the cap.
The 34-year-old lasted just a season with the Giants, in which he caught 18 passes for 154 yards and was shut down after a Week 5 ankle injury.
It’s unclear what’s next for the six-time Pro Bowler, who was a Jet in 2015 and ’16.
