The New York Giants could “potentially” have to add another quarterback if the hip injury suffered by Drew Lock Thursday against the Detroit Lions is going to linger, coach Brian Daboll said Thursday morning.
Lock, signed in the offseason to back up starting quarterback Daniel Jones, was injured late in the first quarter. GM Joe Schoen said on the television broadcast that Lock was “OK’ and could have returned to the game.
Daboll indicated Friday afternoon that Lock was “sore” and that he had not yet met with medical personnel to determine whether or not Lock would be forced to miss practice time.
