The Giants have the worst pass defense in the NFL as far as yards allowed per game. That was with Prince Amukamara as a starting cornerback through the first five games.
It looks as if the Giants will be without Amukamara for quite some time. He suffered a pectoral injury in the third quarter of last Sunday night’s 30-27 comeback victory over the 49ers, although he was able to return to the field and finish the game, playing 63 of the 68 defensive snaps. Amukamara, according to ESPN, sustained a partial tear in the pectoral area that could keep him sidelined a minimum of 3-4 weeks.
