After a great start to his rookie season, New York Giants cornerback Eli Apple struggled against hte Eagles last week which led to him being benched in favor of Trevin Wade.
Sounds like Giants head coach Ben McAdoo believes that Apple will play better going forward.
“He made some mistakes that we need to eliminate through preparation. He’ll bounce back,” McAdoo said.
Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo explained to reporters how everything went down with Apple last week.
“He was struggling a little bit, we went over and said, ‘Look, let’s just take a series off and see what happens.
