The New York Giants got good news after getting a scare Thursday afternoon. Head coach Brian Daboll confirmed Friday morning that rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers is “good” and there are no concerns regarding his availability for Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders.
Nabers popped up on the injury report Thursday afternoon when he was limited in practice with knee soreness. There was suddenly concern that the Giants could be without their most dangerous weapon in a potentially pivotal game. Fortunately, those concerns were quickly assuaged.
Daboll also confirmed that wide receiver Darius Slayton, who is in the concussion protocol, is “trending in the right direction”.
