EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The New York Giants (7-4) host the Washington Commanders (7-5) Sunday (1 p.m. ET/FOX) in a game that feels critical to the Giants’ playoff hopes.
The sixth-seeded Giants, seventh-seeded Commanders and the 6-5 Seattle Seahawks, currently seeded No. 8 in the NFC, would seem to be competing for two playoff spots with six weeks remaining.
With two games against the Commanders, two against the Philadelphia Eagles, and one each against the Minnesota Vikings and Indianapolis Colts the Giants have the league’s toughest remaining schedule, with their opponents combining for a .688 winning percentage.
