Giants come back from 11-point deficit, beat Saints in OT for first win

NEW ORLEANS — Jabrill Peppers was out of the game with a hamstring injury. That didn’t stop him from making one of the biggest plays of the season for the Giants.

The safety and captain called the overtime coin toss in Sunday’s game against the Saints. Heads, he said. And when it came up as such he celebrated.

"We want the ball!" he screamed with a little extra spice thrown into his language.

And they never gave it back.

Ten plays later Saquon Barkley barreled into the end zone for the game-winning 6-yard touchdown run to give the Giants their first victory of the season, 27-21.
