Giants’ coaching rumors: Lunda Wells will reportedly coach tight ends

Lunda Wells will reportedly become the second assistant coach from the New York Giants’ previous staff to remain with the team. Wells will reportedly move from assistant offensive line coach to tight ends coach.

New Giants’ HC Pat Shurmur was able to retain asst OL coach Lunda Wells despite Oakland and other teams expressing interest in luring him away, per source. Wells will be Giants’ TE coach.

Wells has been part of the Giants’ coaching staff since 2012. He has worked for Tom Coughlin, Ben McAdoo and now Pat Shurmur.
