Pat Shurmur's coaching staff finally appears complete. The New York Giants are set to hire Mike Shula as their offensive coordinator, according to a source.
Once that becomes official, this will be most of Shurmur's staff, per sources:
Defensive coordinator: James Bettcher
Bettcher comes from the Arizona Cardinals, where in his three seasons as defensive coordinator he never had a defense ranked outside the top six in the league. Bettcher, 39, is considered a bright, young defensive mind. He replaces Steve Spagnuolo, who interviewed for the Giants head-coaching job.
