Giants coach sticks to the positive side of Twitter

When he sees something he likes, he might tweet about it. If he reads something he appreciates about one of his players, he will retweet it. This is a fairly common practice for assistant coaches in college but not so for NFL assistants. In this regard, Tyke Tolbert is an exception.

“I’m a positive poster,’’ Tolbert, the Giants’ new wide receivers coach, told The Post. “About my family or my players or our team. I don’t respond to anything. It’s just something to do when you have your spare time. Don’t have much spare time now.’’

Yes indeed, training camp is a busy time for assistant coaches.
