It’s not just the players who are getting nicked up during training camp.
Giants head coach Pat Shurmur was sporting a big scrape on the left side of his face Monday. He was playfully asked by a reporter who hit him.
“Oh, nobody,” he said with a smile. “I was putting the dog out, and she’s a big girl so she kind of ran between my legs and I just tripped. That was it.”
Shurmur provided the injury update on himself after revealing the Giants avoided disaster with critical rookie cornerback DeAndre Baker, who’s considered day-to-day with a sprained knee.
