Giants coach Pat Shurmur called the nj.com report of rookie quarterback Kyle Lauletta's arrest Tuesday morning "very disappointing." The report, which cited sources, said Lauletta was driving to practice when he failed to obey a police officer's directions and almost struck the officer with his car.
“We were made aware of the situation this morning, and we have been in contact with Kyle,” Shurmur said in a statement. “We are still in the process of gathering information. This is obviously very disappointing.”
When reached by Newsday, Weehawken police did not immediately confirm the arrest and said it would be releasing information soon.
