New York Giants coach Ben McAdoo continued on Friday to try and beat an optimistic drum heading into Sunday’s game against the 0-9 San Francisco 49ers. That despite his team’s 1-7 record, last week’s 51-17 loss at home to the Los Angeles Rams and a week of turmoil sparked by anonymous quotes that the coach had lost the team.
“I think they’re excited to go play. Excited to go get back on the field. When you have a setback like we did last week and some fake news, I guess you could all it, like we had this week, some drama, I think it’s good to go out and play the game you love to play.
