EAST RUTHERFORD -- Embattled Giants coach Ben McAdoo took a page out of President Donald Trump's public relations playbook on Sunday.
"When you have a setback like we did last week and some fake news, I guess you could call it, like we had this week, some drama, I think it's good to go out and play the game you love to play," McAdoo said on Friday before the 1-7 Giants face the 0-9 49ers on Sunday.
The "setback" McAdoo referenced was last Sunday's disgraceful 51-17 loss to the Rams. The "fake news" remark was about an ESPN report this week that quoted two anonymous players bashing McAdoo.
