Nine months into his tenure, general manager Dave Gettleman doesn't just have his fingerprints on the Giants roster.
He performed an entire body transplant, completed this weekend when the Giants went from 90 to 53 players by cutting loose holdovers from former general manager Jerry Reese's tenure like Mark Herzlich, Davis Webb, John Jerry, Andrew Adams, Roger Lewis, Avery Moss, Darian Thompson, Robert Thomas and more.
Webb, Thompson and Moss all were Reese draft picks.
What's left?
The Giants now have more players on the 53-man roster acquired by Gettleman in nine months than they do by Reese from 2007-17.
