In desperate need of cornerback depth, the Giants added a castoff from an archrival.
The Giants have claimed cornerback Tay Glover-Wright off waivers. Glover-Wright was waived by the Eagles on Saturday. Defensive end Evan Schwan, who fractured his foot in Saturday's game, was waived/injured to open a roster spot for Glover-Wright.
Glover-Wright had a short stay in Philadelphia. He signed with the Eagles on July 31.
An undrafted free agent out of Utah State, Glover-Wright initially signed with the Atlanta Falcons in 2014. He has also spent time with the Packers and Colts.
