The New York Giants addressed a need for additional cornerback depth on Sunday by claiming Tay Glover-Wright off waivers, the team officially announced late sunday afternoon. Glover-Wright, 25, had been released by the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Giants waived/injured undrafted rookie free agent defensive end Evan Schwan, who suffered a fractured foot Saturday night against the New York Jets.
SB Nation’s Bleeding Green Nation referred to Glover-Wright, who played two games for the Indianapolis Colts in 2015, as “just another body for the Eagles at cornerback.
