Giants CB Janoris Jenkins rushed out of practice due to family situation

Giants All-Pro cornerback Janoris Jenkins rushed out of Thursday's practice, due to what the team is calling a family situation.

According to a team spokesperson, Jenkins' exit is unrelated to his incarcerated brother, William H. Jenkins, who is being held on aggravated manslaughter charges stemming from the death of Roosevelt Rene, a friend of Janoris Jenkins who was found dead at Jenkins' spacious home in Fair Lawn back on June 26.

"It's shocking," Jenkins said of Rene's death, during training camp. "But I've still got to come out and play football.
