ARLINGTON, Texas -- Giants cornerback Eli Apple was knocked out of Sunday night's game against the Dallas Cowboys early in the second half with a groin injury.
Prior to departing with the injury, Apple had one tackle in the first half in which the Giants allowed 105 passing yards and a 64-yard touchdown to Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, however Tavon Austin's score was surrendered by cornerback Janoris Jenkins and safety Curtis Riley.
Apple had a strong performance in Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, finishing with three tackles.
With Apple out, the Giants must turn to nickel cornerback B.
