On Tuesday, Giants co-owner John Mara did not dance around the sad state of his team, saying he is “embarrassed by 1-5.” The descriptions most often used to express one’s feelings when things go this badly are “frustrating” or “disappointed” or even “disgusted.” Admitting to embarrassment takes it to another, deeper level.
It is a level the Giants cannot deny residing in.
“It’s completely understandable exactly why he would say that,” rookie guard Will Hernandez told The Post as the Giants reconvened after a long weekend off. “All I can say is I’m going to give my absolute best to change that and help him not feel that way anymore.
