EAST RUTHERFORD -- Don't hold your breath waiting for the Giants to make this disastrous season more palatable by adding some salsa to the mix.
Ben McAdoo left himself some wiggle room, but also left no doubt: Victor Cruz will not be walking through that door again, no matter how many wide receivers the Giants have on the shelf.
"To my knowledge, he is not an option," McAdoo said Monday on a conference call. "But never say never."
Saying never is a pretty safe option though. Cruz couldn't crack a Bears receiving corps considered one of, if not, the, worst in the NFL this preseason.
