Giants' Beckham Jr.: NFL players 'should make more money'

NFL players may make more money than most, but according to Odell Beckham, Jr., they are still under-compensated.

“I think that we should make more money, personally,” the Giants wide receiver told the Huffington Post.

The Madden cover boy signed a four-year, $10.406 million after being selected with the 12th overall pick in last year’s draft. And while that sounds like plenty to most, Beckham’s argument revolves around the dangers of football and the relatively short careers NFL players have.

“It’s not even a full-contact sport, I would call it a full-collision sport,” Beckham said.
