The Giants have another draft pick to play with.
The NFL awarded the Giants a fifth-round pick Friday as part of its compensatory formula. The Jets received no compensatory picks.
The additional pick gives the Giants 10 selections in next month’s draft, providing general manager Dave Gettleman with plenty of ammunition to trade up if he wants to.
Eight of the 10 picks come on the third day of the draft. As it stands now, the Giants have one first-round pick (No. 6 overall), one second-rounder, no third-round picks, two in the fourth, three in the fifth, one in the sixth and two in the seventh.
