The New York Giants kicked off their three day mandatory minicamp on Tuesday and it was a hot one in the tri-state area with temperatures hovering around 90 degrees.
Things were so hot on the field that Giants’ running backs coach Burton Burns collapsed on the field and was carted off. The good news is that he seems to be fine.
When it comes to the players, both Kelvin Benjamin and Kadarius Toney left early. No one is sure whether is was injury-related or out of precaution. Of course Benjamin is hoping to make the Giants’ roster this coming summer, but he is a longshot given that he’s been out of the NFL for the past two years.
