CLEVELAND -- Giants safety Andrew Adams' storybook rookie season didn't have a fairytale ending.
The undrafted free agent from UConn went from the practice squad to starting 13 games at free safety for one of the NFL's best defenses last season. But Adams lost his starting job to veteran Leon Hall in the playoffs, logging just seven snaps in the Giants' 38-13 loss to the Packers in the Wild-Card round.
"I was a rookie coming in, still trying to figure things out, so it was a learning experience," Adams said.
