EAST RUTHERFORD -- Early in the team-drills of the first practice of Giants training camp on Thursday, second-year wide receiver Amba Etta-Tawo got behind the defense and hauled in a deep-ball in stride from Eli Manning and raced for the end zone, which sent reporters on the sidelines and fans in the stands scrambling to find out who No. 6 is on the roster.
It didn't take long for Etta-Tawo to remind them.
On Friday, the 6-foot-1 and 208 pound Syracuse product looking to make the Giants' roster after spending parts of last season on the practice squads of the Jacksonville Jaguars and Kansas City Chiefs, made a magnificent catch in traffic over the middle of the field with cornerback Chris Lewis-Harris draped all over him.
