The Giants have signed a new running back to back up Saquon Barkley.
According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, former Raider Devontae Booker has agreed to a two-year deal worth $6 million. Booker played in all 16 games for Vegas this past year and gained 423 yards on the ground with a trio of rushing touchdowns.

With multiple running backs set to become free agents (Wayne Gallman and Alfred Morris), the Giants needed someone to take on a backup role whenever Barkley needs a breather or if he suffers an injury (let’s hope the latter scenario doesn’t happen again).
