The Giants made another addition to their offensive line on Saturday when they agreed in principle to a deal with former Vikings and Panthers offensive lineman Mike Remmers.
Remmers' agent, Brett Tessler, announced the agreement on Twitter. Remmers is expected to slide in at right tackle for the Giants.
Remmers, who came into the league as an undrafted free agent in 2012, has a history with several prominent Giants decision-makers. Giants general manager Dave Gettleman, then in charge of the Panthers, signed Remmers off the Rams' practice squad in 2013, and Giants offensive coordinator Mike Shula held the same role with the Panthers during Remmer's time in Carolina.
