Former Atlanta Falcons head coach Mike Smith will interview for the Giants head coaching job on Monday, according to a source.
Smith is the latest name to surface in a head coaching search that has been as "extensive" as the Giants had promised. He will be the sixth option the Giants interview in their search to replace coach Tom Coughlin.
One of those options, Adam Gase, who interviewed with the Giants on Friday, is already off the board after choosing to sign with the Miami Dolphins.
Smith coached the Falcons for seven seasons before being fired after the 2014 campaign.
