The Giants are beefing up their depth on the defensive line.
Veteran defensive tackle Corbin Bryant has signed with the Giants. The team waived center Khaled Holmes to free up space for Bryant on the Giants' 90-man roster.
Bryant brings experience to a defensive tackle group that is in transition. The Giants lost starter Johnathan Hankins in free agency to the Colts this spring. They added Alabama's Dalvin Tomlinson in the second round of this year' NFL Draft, but journeyman Robert Thomas (nine games, no starts) and 2014 third-round pick Jay Bromley (39 games, four starts) have also been in the mix to step in next to All-Pro run stuffer Damon Harrison.
