The New York Giants have added three candidates to the list of coaches being considered to become their next defensive coordinator.
Jerome Henderson
The Giants’ defensive backs coach has been considered a possibility should the Giants want to look internally to provide continuity for players. ESPN’s Jordan Ranaan is now reporting that Henderson has officially become a candidate.
An NFL player from 1991-98, Henderson has been coaching defensive backs in the NFL since 2007. He was hired to do that job with the Giants by Joe Judge in 2020, and was kept on board by Brian Daboll.
