The Giants have an offensive line rebuild on their horizon. They may have taken a small, quiet step in that process on Tuesday.
Undrafted rookie lineman Damien Mama was one of two players signed to the active roster ahead of Sunday's game against the NFC-leading Eagles. He was signed off the Chiefs' practice squad. The Giants also signed wide receiver Hunter Sharp, who was most recently with the Broncos' practice squad.
Mama, who played at USC with Giants right tackle Chad Wheeler, is 6-foot-3 and 342 pounds. One talent evaluator told NJ Advance Media before the 2017 NFL Draft he was very high on Mama.
