The Giants reportedly are getting some help at linebacker.
Big Blue is acquiring Alec Ogletree from the Los Angeles Rams in a trade for multiple draft picks, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The report says the Giants will receive Ogletree and a 2019 seventh-round pick from the Rams for one of their fourth-round picks and their sixth-round pick in the 2018 draft.
Newsday’s Tom Rock reports that the fourth-rounder that the Giants will trade away is their compensatory pick (136th overall).
Ogletree was the No. 30 overall pick in the 2013 NFL draft by the Rams out of Georgia.
