Giants' 4th-round pick drops 10 spots due to walkie-talkie penalty

The illegal use of a walkie-talkie by Giants coach Ben McAdoo last season caused the team's fourth-round draft pick to drop 10 spots.

The NFL announced the compensatory picks for this year's draft on Friday. The Giants weren't in position to receive any comp picks because they made major free-agent acquisitions last offseason, but their fourth-round pick had been unsettled.

The Giants' fourth-round pick was moved to the end of the round as part of the NFL's penalty for McAdoo illegally using a walkie-talkie on the sideline to communicate with quarterback Eli Manning during a 10-7 win over the Cowboys in Week 14.
