NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — It still remains unclear when — or if — Jason Pierre-Paul will report to Giants training camp.
The two-time Pro Bowler, who severely injured his hand in a July 4 fireworks accident, has begun to communicate with his team. He’s spoken with general manager Jerry Reese, head coach Tom Coughlin and defensive line coach Robert Nunn.
He’s also exchanged text messages with co-owner John Mara.
Fellow Giants co-owner Steve Tisch hasn’t been as lucky. Tisch has tried to reach out to JPP, but has failed in his attempts.
