SAN JOSE, Calif. – Dave Gettleman knows Super Bowls. Prior to the 2015 season, he had been to six of them, two with the Buffalo Bills (in 1990 and 91) as their representative to the BLESTO Scouting Combine, another as a scout for the Denver Broncos in 1997, and three with the Giants as their director of pro personnel (in 2000, 2007 and 2011).
On Sunday, Gettleman will be in his seventh Super Bowl, with his fourth different team, when the Carolina Panthers face the Denver Broncos in Levi’s Stadium. Gettleman is the 17-1 Panthers’ third-year general manager.
