EAST RUTHERFORD -- Will Tye is used to being counted out. So, he wasn't worried when the Giants invested heavily in the tight end position this offseason.
"It's kind of always been my life," Tye said. "In high school, I didn't play my varsity until my junior year. College, obviously, I went to Florida State and didn't play there for three years and I transferred to Stony Brook. I've always kind of had that doubt."
That doubt followed Tye to the NFL. He signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2015, but was cut at the end of the preseason.
