The Giants are still in the market for added depth at cornerback, and they are set to host free agent corner Jerraud Powers, according to a report by ESPN's Josina Anderson.
Powers will visit the Giants on Thursday, according to the report. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported the veteran will take other visits after meeting with the Giants, but they will get the first one.
Powers is heading into his eighth season in the NFL. He started 13 games last season for the Cardinals, and has started 82 games in his career. Powers was a third round pick by the Colts in 2009 out of Auburn.
