General manager Dave Gettleman made it clear in his introductory press conference last month that the offensive line would be a priority in the team’s rebuild.
Pat Shurmur, who was officially introduced as the franchise’s 18th head coach on Friday, has a similar philosophy in building in strong foundation up front. Shurmur knew in his interview with Gettleman that the two were immediately on the same page, via New York’s team website.
