Frank Gifford, N.F.L. Celebrity Player and Broadcaster, Dies at 84

Frank Gifford, a Hall of Fame running back and receiver who personified the Giants’ glory years of the late 1950s and early ’60s and then became a mainstay on ABC’s “Monday Night Football,” died at his home in Connecticut on Sunday. He was 84.
