Some people are larger than life. And to his former teammates, Frank Gifford sure seemed to be one of them.
That's why Rosie Grier, another long-time Giant, was so stunned when he got the news on Sunday that Gifford had died suddenly at the age of 84.
“I was just shocked,” Grier told the NFL Network, “because it's like Frank Gifford would just last forever.”

Michael Strahan, another Giants superstar-turned-media sensation, who jumped from his all-pro Giants career into a second career hosting an ABC morning talk show, remembered Gifford for both careers.
