According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the Dallas Cowboys have signed former Giants safety Darian Thompson to their active roster.
Thompson was waived by the Giants before the start of the season and added to the Arizona Cardinals practice squad about a week ago.
The former third-round pick of the Giants played in all 16 games last season after missing 14 games as a rookie in 2016.
He came out of Boise State with the reputation of being a “ball hawk,” but it has yet to translate to the NFL.
